Trade for the Environment with ECOTRADE B2B Marketplace
Tsunamis, earthquakes, landslides, global warming, air pollution, food and water shortage, and more. We all know that it will get worse if we won’t start going green now. I have been an advocate of green technology use and development, and it is nice to know that there are already B2B E-marketplaces which also promote green innovations. One of the most popular green e-market places that is known worldwide is ECOTRADE.
What exactly is ECOTRADE?
With the aim of improving the quality of life in Korea and securing the global leadership of the environment industry through the promotion of green technology development and supply, the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI, a Global Leader of Green Technology and Industry) came up with ECOTRADE.
ECOTRADE is the e-marketplace for environmental trade. It is where the advocates of green technology and the best manufacturers and traders of Korea’s finest environmental technologies, products and equipment collaborate to offer buyers, suppliers, traders, and consumers nothing but high quality, sustainable, and green innovation. It is, in itself, an innovation that makes the green movement more mainstream and more of a dominant and relevant trend that consumers and businesses should take part of.

Why Should You Become a Part of ECOTRADE?
Joining ECOTRADE opens tons of opportunities for big and small businesses and entrepreneurs. For the would-be buyers, ECOTRADE lets you find Korea’s latest environmental products and technology in just a few clicks. No more need to do extensive research in the industry.
In addition to that, business-to-business transactions would be a breeze with ECOTRADE’s easy sign-up and lead registration process. In this Premier Environmental B2B Marketplace, buyers and sellers would just have to register a few details about their company and the products that they are looking for or they are selling. Once registered, the buying and selling offers would then be stored in the website’s database, which is then readily accessible to website visitors.
Aside from the easy transactions, ECOTRADE also helps its members make informed decisions in trading. You see, the companies registered in ECOTRADE have certifications awarded by world’s renowned environmental and standards inspecting authorities such as ISO, EU. Before transacting with a registered company, one can do a background check and see if the company has been verified by KEITI or if has been awarded with certifications. Soon, ECOTRADE will also offer a product search service categorized by awarded certification.
Now for the sellers, ECOTRADE offers an e-Catalogue. This is where you’d be able to post information about your company and your products, as well as your environmental and standard certifications. You can also register trade offers (leads) for free and transact with the thousands of prospective buyers worldwide. You can respond to buyer leads and inquiries with confidence via the website’s easy-to-use forms too.
Another thing that you’d love about ECOTRADE is that it also offers various services and information for environmental product trading. This includes the latest market trends and the current issues, and information about green technology and the green industry. KEITI also provides support in planning, assessing and managing environmental technology products as it nurtures environmental businesses by (a) running an assessment and certification system; (b) training specialist manpower; (c) encouraging low-carbon green management; and (d) collecting and disseminating information on environmental technologies and industry.
Right now, only Korean companies can register as sellers in this Premier Environmental B2B Marketplace but every entrepreneur or business owner (or someone who plans to be one) can sign up as a buyer. Buyers from all over the world are welcome to transact and inquire about the environment-friendly products, facilities, and services they need. ECOTRADE is also connected with one of the world’s largest B2B marketplaces – ECPLAZA.net.
If you have a business – big or small – and you’ve been wanting to join the Go-Green caravan, I suggest you check the ECOTRADE website right away. For sure, you’ll find tons of good business opportunities when you access the site’s database of seller and buyer leads – FREE of charge.

I enjoy reading about companies and organizations coming up with new ways to help save our environment.
Ecotrade will surely help those businesses who aim to care for Mother Nature by providing products that are not harmful to our environment. I think we have something like this here in the Philippines, but I hope they’ll also put up their own website for earth-friendly entrepreneurs and businesses to showcase and sell their products.
Now is really the time to be more conscious of our environment. I believe that Ecotrade will be of big help in making different companies be aware of how to become eco-friendly.
Nice and helpful post

Interesting post! Now is the time for the companies to be more aware and give more care to our Mother Earth. They should not forget their Corporate Social Responsibility especially to the environment
Yes after all the disasters we’ve been experiencing, this should open our eyes to the harmful effect of neglecting our environment and good to know that there are companies like Ecotrade that showed concern on our environment.

it is so admirable for ECOTRADE for doing this…it is time that everyone gets involved in saving Mother Earth
I wonder if we have something like this in the Philippines? I’d someday love to sell eco-friendly products like the ones they have in Korea.

I so agree with this kind of advocacy while they are also profiting from this. Some people needs professional help on protecting the nature and this is when Ecotrade excels.

We are drilled to go green everytime so yes these days we (Hub’s and I) make conscious effort to buy eco-friendly products and sometimes even organic products. My only complain though is they are quiet pricey. but if we have more sites like these where they can advertise for free, it might bring prices lower hence more people will buy cretaing more product awareness.

I am gladdened that Korea had been pioneering in this kind of “going green.” What is happening in our environment is no joke. The most recent disaster caused by hurricane Irene is really something that should rattle us. I know beginning the green act individually is a necessity, but having that beginning launched by large companies is a plus plus.

Increasing numbers of modern eco trade fairs, groups, and magazines indicate greater demand (“,)
Now i felt to be somehow economically oriented. Thanks for this post.

It’s a good thing that a lot of countries now are being aware about the situation of our environment and they, like Korea, are doing steps to help Mother Earth at the same time improve their own businesses. What I like about this ECOTRADE is that a lot of companies can contribute to the environment friendly projects of everyone who joins them which more likely can raise the awareness of a lot of people. I hope the Philippines will be able to conduct its own ECOTRADE type of thing or anything related to saving the environment.
Thanks for this post!
Will sure be sharing it.
