According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, many parents of toddlers suffer from Fever Phobia. Apparently, a lot of parents become so anxious and overly worried when their young kids have fever. In fact, it is even among the most common reasons why parents bring their child to the doctor.

This Blog has PR3

Thank you so much to all of you my readers who kept on coming back at my site and reading my posts and thank you my fellow bloggers who have linked back to this site. I am proud to report to you that after the recent page rank update, this blog has now jumped from PR2 to PR3, thanks to all of you.

I hope I can maintain this rank considering how unpredictable Google can be. I don’t know if I’ll ever get PR4 but PR3 is way okay for me. Frankly, I still don’ know how Google algorithms work but I hope I  – and my blogs – can make it through. I also hope that my Alexa Ranking would get better soon. To do that, I would have to work on getting more traffic.

Why You Should Let Your Baby Listen to Music

I am fond of musical jewelry boxes. When I was young, I had one with a ballerina on top and I used to play it every night before I sleep. Yana also had one when she was still a baby. I got her one because I’ve heard that music helps stimulate thoughts and makes babies smarter but am not really so sure if there are some medical studies that back that up. What I’ve read recently is that music did help strengthen premature babies, based on a research abroad.

According to a study made by researchers from Brigham Young University, music helps develop the health and condition of premature babies. The study was conducted among 33 premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. What the researchers did was to make sure that each baby was exposed to voices of men and women singing lullabies for exactly 40 minutes everyday, for four days. The result was that the babies who were exposed to music gained more weight and a stronger heart beat. They also had lower blood pressure. Continue reading
