This can be because of a sudden increase in blood pressure due to sneezing, coughing, vomiting, straining, or even laughing so hard. Continue reading

Health and Wellness : Traditional LASIK Surgery in the Philippines – Au Revoir ‘Four-Eyed’ Me, A Review

Published by:

This post is long overdue as I was on a blogging hiatus due to a number of unfortunate events plus I kept on adding answers to questions my friends had about my LASIK surgery last July 26. This has been on draft for more than a month now, sorry. Anyhow, here it is…

When I still had “four eyes”, I suffered thrice from corneal abrasions. This is because my kids kept on hitting my eyeglasses (accidentally – in different ways you couldn’t imagine ahead and be prepared for) – and the nose pads would get pressed onto my eyes and for some reason, scrape my overly delicate and scratch-susceptible cornea. I’ve had abrasions on both eyes and they are really painful. I started to hate wearing eyeglasses because of that… and such was the first reason why I decided to get a LASIK surgery… but that’s not the only one. Continue reading
